Where It Is Located
Shehnai Banquet is at Global Arcade in Global City, Virar West, opposite Poonam Park View and near Yazoo Park. These are useful landmarks for cabs and private vehicles. Guests should share the complete address because similarly named venues exist elsewhere in Mumbai and other cities.
Railway and Public Transport Connectivity
Virar Railway Station is the main public-transport gateway. Location references place Global City at about 2 km from the station. Virar is on Mumbai’s Western suburban rail corridor, making local trains practical for guests from Vasai, Nalasopara, Borivali, Andheri and other western suburbs.
Auto-rickshaws and cabs are convenient for the final stretch from Virar station. Allow extra time during evening peak hours.
Road Connectivity
The venue is reached through the Virar West road network serving Global City, Bolinj and the Yazoo Park side. Important approach routes include:
- Global City internal roads for guests staying within the Rustomjee/Evershine residential belt
- Virar-Agashi Road for Bolinj, Agashi, Arnala and western Virar
- Narangi Road and the east-west flyover for connections towards Virar East
- Routes towards the Western Express Highway for guests driving from Vasai, Mira Road and Mumbai
- Local links from Nalasopara West through the Virar-Bolinj side
A location map for the wider Global City area places the Western Express Highway at about 10.8 km, while Yazoo Park is in the immediate neighbourhood. Wedding-season traffic can slow the final approach.
Airport Connectivity
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is roughly 54-59 km from Virar West by road. The trip can take around an hour in favourable traffic and much longer at peak times, so airport pickups need a generous buffer.

Shehnai Banquet is particularly convenient for families living across Virar and the wider Vasai-Virar belt.

Event Spaces and Guest Capacity
The official website describes a flexible banquet hall for about 200 to 1,200 guests, plus a lounge area and outdoor patio. Different zones can support guest reception, dining or parts of a wedding programme.
The 1,200-guest figure is a published maximum, not a guarantee for every layout. Stage size, buffet counters, decor and seating can reduce comfortable capacity, so ask for a floor plan based on the expected guest count.
Facilities and Event Suitability
Shehnai Banquet may be considered for:
- Wedding ceremonies and receptions
- Sangeet, haldi and pre-wedding functions
- Birthday and anniversary celebrations
- Corporate gatherings and presentations
- Functions that benefit from both indoor and outdoor guest areas
The official site highlights valet parking, audiovisual equipment, projection screens, lighting, a culinary team, lounge seating and an outdoor patio. It states parking for up to about 80 cars. Current per-plate rates are not published reliably, so request a date-specific quote.
Points to Check Before Booking
Before paying a token amount, request a written quotation covering:
- Final seated and floating capacity for the chosen layout
- Minimum guaranteed guest count and extra-plate billing
- Current vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu options
- Final food rates, taxes and tasting arrangements
- Decoration inclusions and outside-vendor permissions
- Actual parking allocation and valet staffing for the event date
- Rain backup if the outdoor patio is part of the function
- Cancellation and date-change conditions
An evening site visit helps assess lighting, sound, entry movement and actual parking during a live function.
